Things have been very quiet over here at Seedsmiths while Michelle and I have been taking care of personal projects and other teaching commitments for the last few months. However, we have been plotting and planning and scheming behind the scenes and we will have some updates in the not too distant future. We have some really exciting ideas we want to implement and share and will do so as soon as we can!
To stay updated with what's happening, check back here and follow our social media accounts; we're on Facebook, Instagram and Twitter.
As always, if you're interested in teaching a course (in any skill at all) and having someone else do all the admin and publicity work for you (that's us!) then shoot an email through to firstname.lastname@example.org and we can get the ball rolling. What can you create? What do you make in your spare time or professionally? Can you knit, crochet, bake, cook, build, garden? You don't necessarily have to be a "professional" teacher to pass that skill on to others - Michelle and I are here to support you through the whole experience; as qualified teachers ourselves we have lots of strategies we can share to help you feel confident teaching others your skill or craft. Don't hesitate, don't be shy - fill in our application form and let's see what we can share with the community. (Hint: start small - think of one particular item or basic skill that could be taught to others.)
Previously we've had inquiries about a range of possible courses, from flower crown making, to woodworking, jam making, to photography, creative writing, even yoga and mindfulness. We're looking for a wide range of skills and interests for the whole community - all kinds of ages, genders and backgrounds. If you have an interest in teaching or participating in something please let us know. If you have a friend who is interested in teaching or participating in something, pass on our details and ask them to get in touch.
We look forward to hearing from you!
